I was born and was raised in Lebanon. French and Arabic are both mother tongues to me. I am also fluent in English (I am Canadian citizen and an English teacher) and in German (as I have been residing for over five years).

I hold a University degree in French Literature with an extensive emphasis on Arabic/French translation and vice versa, English, Latin and linguistics. Furthermore, I hold a University degree in Languages (Langues Etrangères Appliquées) with an emphasis on business and management, translation, text analysis, media, linguistics and civilizations in French, English, Arabic and German.

My professional experience is internationally oriented. For the last two years, I worked as a freelance English translator, a reviser and a proof-reader in an EU Environmental Twinning Project in Croatia, translating German Articles and texts related to environmental issues into English, revising and proofreading English reports, presentations and all information shown on the project website.
Moreover, I have worked in three different countries that are Lebanon, Canada and Germany and have approximately ten years of experience as an Administration Officer, a Bank Clerk and an Immigration Consultant, which required office workflow tasks in English, French and Arabic. I have another twelve years experience in teaching languages.
I am very skilled in computer programs, the use of Internet tools for research and processing documents.

Highly motivated, discrete, organized and flexible, I am able to work under pressure and set priorities. I am careful to details, and enjoy working either independently and within a team. I am seeking new challenges to learn new skills.
